Relaxing Onsen Escape

The highlight for me at Tsumagoi Resort was undoubtedly the onsen. It had a range of indoor pools with varying temperatures, including a unique electric water pool with microbubbles that felt amazing. Outdoors, I enjoyed the serene wooden pool and the river-like layout of another pool, perfect for exercise. The view of the autumn leaves while soaking was amazing!

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times when visiting the nearby Kakegawa Kachoen, but this time it felt different. The hotel appears to have aged since my last visit, and the amenities just weren't up to par. We’ve been to this hotel a few times as it's close to the wonderful Kakegawa Kachoen, but I was disappointed this time. The hotel feels quite tired and worn out, likely due to recent challenges.
