Returning to this hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms are spacious and clean, the overall vibe seems a bit worn out compared to our previous visits. The amenities were underwhelming, with the pool closed and fewer activities available. The dining options seemed less appealing this time, though the staff's friendliness stood out amidst the challenges. It's a location with great potential, but cost-cutting seems to be impacting the overall experience.

This hotel has a lot of potential but feels a bit worn out since our last visit. While the staff remains lovely and the rooms are spacious, it's disappointing to see the quality of dining and facilities drop. Key amenities, like the pool and activities, are limited, making for a less enjoyable experience this time around.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious with large windows, providing plenty of space for our family. However, we needed to be cautious about privacy since people outside could easily see in.
Service
8.0
The staff were very polite and helpful, explaining everything clearly, but it would be beneficial to communicate in Japanese to avoid any misunderstandings.
Location

Although the location is still convenient for visiting nearby attractions, the hotel itself feels a bit tired and needs renovation.
Dining

The buffet options seemed to have decreased in quality and variety since our last stay, which was quite disappointing.

Many facilities were closed or limited, like the pool and game center, which was a letdown for our family, especially during nighttime hours.

We had a mixed experience during our stay. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, but the hotel felt a bit worn out compared to our previous visits. We were disappointed to find the pool closed and limited activities. The dining options didn't meet our expectations this time either. Still, the staff were friendly and made our stay more enjoyable.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times when visiting the nearby Kakegawa Kachoen, but this time it felt different. The hotel appears to have aged since my last visit, and the amenities just weren't up to par. It felt quite busy with families, but the pool was closed, and the activities were limited, making it less enjoyable than I remember. On a positive note, the staff was very nice, and the rooms were spacious with big windows offering a nice view, but I wish there had been more attention to detail regarding the facilities and dining.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with air conditioning. However, be cautious as the large windows allow others to see in at night.
Service
7.0
The staff was polite and friendly, but communication in Japanese was essential as not many spoke English. Just be aware of unexpected charges added to the bill after booking online.
Location
7.0
The hotel is located in a spacious area, but it feels a bit tired. It's not far from Shizuoka stadium, which is convenient for events.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the buffet quality has declined, with fewer choices and poorly made dishes during my stay, which was quite disappointing.
Facilities
5.0
Many amenities were closed, including the pool and the onsen, making the stay feel less enjoyable than previously.

We’ve been to this hotel a few times as it's close to the wonderful Kakegawa Kachoen, but I was disappointed this time. The hotel feels quite tired and worn out, likely due to recent challenges. While the large windows in the room are a nice touch, many facilities were closed, and the overall atmosphere just seemed lacking. On a positive note, the staff were lovely, but I wish the experience could have been better.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious with large windows, but they felt a little dated. Just a heads up, anyone can see in from the outside at night.
Service
8.0
The staff were polite and did their best, but I had some language barriers. They were nice, nonetheless.
Location
7.0
The hotel is in a busy area with families, which shows some life, but overall it feels worn.
Dining
5.0
The buffet felt underwhelming with a noticeable dip in quality compared to previous visits.
Facilities
5.0
Sadly, many facilities were closed during our stay, including the pool and game center, which was quite disappointing.
